Bulldogs guarantees that the puppy sold is
in good physical health on this day of purchase. All necessary shots and
dewormings have been done. The purchaser agrees to take this puppy to a
licensed veterinarian of there choice within 3 business days for a health check.
At this time please have your vet do any test he/she feels necessary to
determine that this puppies is healthy and free of any illness or congenital
life threading disorders.
Ridge Road Puppies must be informed immediately
of this examination with all diagnosis if there should be any. Should the puppy
be determined to be unfit for purchase due to illness, disease or congenital
disorder, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the seller, the puppy
may upon presentation of a written diagnosis from said veterinarian be returned
for another puppy of equal value by the seller. Puppies that are shipped are at
risk for Coccidia and Kennel cough which is common in puppies that are shipped
and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel cough on its own is not life
threatening. So if you plan to have your puppy shipped instead of picking it up
you need to be aware of this.
Ridge Road Puppies also offers a replacement
guarantee on our puppies up to 12 months of age. If the puppy develops
congenital/hereditary life threatening disorder, we will replace the puppy of
same sex, breed and equal value, (if the dog has been neutered of spayed the
replacement puppy will also be neutered or spayed or on limited reg.) at our
first opportunity, provided the conditions below are met and kept by the buyer:

ever for sale or in need of placement.

If puppy dies within
one month a replacement will be offered providing the buyer has a
veterinarian’s autopsy report which indicates that a congenital/hereditary
defect was the cause of death. Buyer pays all shipping costs involved in
obtaining a replacement puppy.

Buyer agrees to
provide routine veterinary care of this puppy. Including proper
vaccinations, routine worm checks, heart worm treatments, and records of
such care should buyer have to return puppy for replacement.

Buyer understands
contract will be voice if buyer fails to provide routine veterinary care, if
puppy is sold transferred of injured by accident of neglect.

Ridge Road Puppies
will not be responsible for veterinarian fees or costs. Buyer is aware that
owing a puppy means regular trips to the veterinarian and understands that
he/she will be responsible for all payments.

There is no guarantee
or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy
regardless of show or breeding potentials.

Ridge Road Puppies is
not responsible for temperament issues as they can be caused by lack for
training, discipline or proper dog socialization which is determined by
every dog’s personality.

This contract is
valid only for the original buyer and puppy, it is not transferable.

If replacement puppy
is given you must return all AKC papers with the puppy that is returning to
Ridge Road
Puppies and sign the returning puppy over to Melinda Scantling as the new
owner. And the replacement puppies AKC papers will be signed over to you.

Buyers understands
and agrees that all of Ridge Road Puppies including bulldogs are inside dogs
and require air conditioned living conditions to prevent overheating.
I, the buyer have read this contract, understand fully the contents
thereof and acknowledge receipt of it. We are not relying on verbal statements
not contained herein.
